Starting July 8, 2019 Lily Cache Rd at Caton Farm Rd will be closed due to construction on the Mink Creek Bridge.

The Highway Department is working to prevent vandalism of the Renwick Road Bridge. 24 hr video surveillance has been added to deter criminal activity. Graffiti is expensive to remove and ultimately costs you, the taxpayer. Please help by reporting trespassing to the WC Sheriff at 815.727.8575. Then email the Hwy Dept at kmarland@plugindevelopment.ndev.space. Guilty parties and/or their guardians will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, including payment of cleanup expenses.
Blacktop and Pot Hole Repairs
Pothole and cold patch work has been done throughout the entire Township Road District.
Mowing & Trash Pickup
All road easements are mowed and cleared of trash. This is an ongoing project through November.
Please note: Not all roads within the Township are under the jurisdiction of the Plainfield Township Highway Department. This makes it confusing for some residents who are trying to get information and service. If you have questions, please call 815-436-6090. Your questions will be handled, or you will be directed to the proper State, County, local City or Village agency that is responsible.
