Ken Marland, a Plainfield Township resident since 1986, has worked for the Highway Department since 1998. Ken started as a seasonal employee, hired to a permanent employee shortly thereafter, and was promoted to Foreman in 2004. Ken Marland was appointed as the Plainfield Township Highway Commissioner to fill the term vacated by the untimely death of Sam Reichert. In 2017 Ken was elected to the position.
